Undergraduate Research in Biology

Where will your passion for science take you?  For many Cornell biology students, it leads them to becoming an undergraduate researcher - working together with faculty, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students and other undergraduates on the front line of scientific discovery.  Over 70% of biology majors participate in independent research during their time at Cornell. 

The Office of Undergraduate Biology (OUB) offers advising for finding on-campus research opportunities, provides travel awards to undergraduates presenting their research at regional or national meetings, and sponsors a variety of summer and academic year workshops, seminars, and special events for students with interests in life science research.  To learn more about research, explore this website or visit the OUB in 216 Stimson Hall.
