Lisa came to the OUB in 2014 from Cornell’s Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational research where she assessed the service needs of military families. She has spent most of her career working in the field of human services policy and evaluation.
As an assessment specialist with the Biology Active Learning Initiative, Lisa works closely with several of our core undergraduate, introductory Biology courses that are transforming the way they teach into a more student-centered, active-learning approach. She can often be found observing in classrooms and gathering feedback from students about their learning.
Lisa has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in Sociology from SUNY Buffalo.
