Argen Omurzakov ’22

Argen is concentrating in General Biology with plans to take a gap year after graduation. During his gap year he will be involved with clinical research and ultimately plans to go to medical school. On campus he is involved with Midnight Comedy, Cornell Chorale, Phi Delta Epsilon, he also volunteers at Ithaca Free Clinic. Argen also does research at the Schaffer-Nishimura Lab. For fun he enjoys listening to music, playing video games, watching movies, and playing guitar. Argen’s favorite class is PMA 2800, Introduction to Acting. This summer he will be working on his senior thesis, volunteering and studying for the MCAT. Argen is most excited to BioFest and being a resource for first year/transfer students so don't hesitate to reach out! Argen's advice for all is to "Be kind to yourself, and make time in your schedule to care for your body and mental health."
