Brooke Olson ’22

Brooke is concentrating in Human Nutrition with plans to take a gap year before applying to medical school after graduation. On campus, she is a member of the Varsity Women’s Cross Country and Track Team and she is involved with Cornell’s Chapter of College Mentors for Kids. She also conducts research for Professor Jerel Ezell in the Africana Studies department. Her favorite class is ASRC 4002: Diasporic and Indigenous Health. Brooke loves to go on hikes, listen to music, and cook for fun. Last summer, she continued doing research in her lab. Brooke is excited for BioFest and Cornell days this school year! Her words of encouragement for incoming students: " Try to measure your success on an individual level; be proud of your accomplishments and hard work without comparing yourself to others.”
