Durgaprasad Kullakanda '19

Durga is concentrating in Neurobiology and Behavior and plans to do either an MD or MD/PhD program after a gap year. On Campus, Durga is involved in the APO service fraternity, Cornell Undergraduate Society for Neuroscience, Synapse Neuroscience Journal, and Cornell Health Advocacy topics. Durga does research in the Hopkins Lab - programming for ethology research - as well as the Warden Lab to study depression and motivated behavior circuits. His favorite class is BIOMG 3300, Auto-tutorial Biochemistry, because it has taught him the most interesting material and helped him become a better student. This summer, Durga is staying in Ithaca to do research in the Warden Lab and volunteer.
